SodexoMagic has an opportunity for a Food Operations Manager 3 at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Our successful candidate will direct daily operations, including a Resident dining hall, Retail locations, and Catering. Candidates must be flexible and able to work all hours and be available to hire and mentor front-line teams. This role will be responsible for driving employee engagement as well as ensuring all staffing levels are met. This position will serve as an Assistant Director for all campus food service.

What You Bring
- have 3 - 5 years management experience in a high volume dining operation - preferably Campus or Healthcare contract management background
- have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
- have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
- can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
- prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. : Sodexo Food Management System (FMS), The Market Connection (TMC) is preferred

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
