Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Food Operations Manager to join our team of professionals at Good Samaritan Kissimmee, in Kissimmee, FL. We are seeking a talented individual who will commit to the challenges of creating and delivering a operational-culinary-driven experience for our residents throughout our 4 kitchens and restaurants. This is a hands-on OPS role requiring previous experience managing upscale food production. This is a highly visible position and will interface with the residents and clients on a daily basis. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

What You'll Do

  • have direct oversight of retail dining and catering operations;
  • support the Health Services team as needed;
  • lead and mentor the team of frontline associates;
  • be responsible for project planning, resident satisfaction and will assume the GM responsibilities when the GM is not present.

What You Bring

  • have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;
  • possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;
  • exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
  • demonstrate working knowledge of Retail systems, automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
