Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager to help operate our child nutrition partnership with schools in Lakewood, WA.Candidate will have K-12 Public schools knowledge of Child Nutrition regulations and will work directly with district employees and school sites, implementing signage/marketing program, gathering customer data, through surveys, focus groups and taste testing. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. What You'll Do
- Deliver high quality food service, driving participation by introducing intriguing new meal options for students;
- Achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
- Develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
- Create a positive environment with an all-hands-on-deck approach to leadership, willingness to support where needed and go-getter attitude;
- Have oversight of day-to-day operations by making sure menu planning, meal pattern compliance, recipes, and HACCP standards are being followed; and
- Proactively identify and resolve issues on a schedule that is typically M-F with nights/weekends off.

- Food service operations experience
- Well organized, critical thinker, resourceful, and self-motivated
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving food service programs
- Basic professional cooking knowledge
- Valid driver's license required

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
