Sodexo is looking for an Executive Chef 3 for busy account located in New York, NY
The Executive Chef 3 will report to the Client Executive and provide culinary leadership through menu planning and program execution while maintaining kitchen operations, driving patient satisfaction through patient feeding and ensuring food safety.
The ideal candidate will have prior union management experience working in a large high-volume hospitality unit. This position will be responsible for inventory management/food purchasing, ability to control food and labor costs, strong leadership skills, excellent client and customer interaction skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

We are looking for candidates who have:
- strong culinary management and organizational skills
- experience in a union environment
- menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
- proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
- a proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction
- NYC health certificate and a proven working knowledge of HAACP
The successful candidate will:
- implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures
- manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
- procurement and purchasing
- create menus based on client needs
- implement innovative and fresh ideas
- create interpersonal relationships with client

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
