Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 - Athletic Performance for the Atlanta Braves Spring Training Facility in Venice, FL. The Executive Chef for Athletic Performance supervises and supports all aspects of food production including menu planning, recipe design, and food preparation at site locations to ensure client, customer, athletic satisfaction and site retention. Serves as culinary technical expert and trainer for other chefs. Implements business practices to uphold Company mission and values. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services and creation of opportunities for growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for all aspects of food production to ensure account retention.
- Fulfills contractual obligations to the client.
- Plans menus including methods, timetables and costs to support client and Sodexo strategic plan.
- Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining highest level of delivery.
- Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.
- Provides personalized meal and snack plans to promote achieving short- and long-term goals for athletic performance and good health.
- Helps Develop and support educational efforts.
- Educates in food selection (grocery store tours, food storage) and food preparation (cooking classes)
We are looking for candidates who will:
- manage the daily food production including production planning and controls;
- ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality;
- manage food costing, controls and compliance;
- develop menus and manage inventory;
- have high expectations for customer service and quality of food;
- have the ability and willingness to develop and train frontline employees;
- have a passion for food and innovation;
- have knowledge of special diets and allergens; and
- knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) is preferred.
- a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
- excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies;
- previous experience working in a high-volume facility; and
- strong management skills.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
