Sodexo Corporate Services has an exciting Executive Chef 2 opportunity at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. The current food landscape is made up of 2 cafes, coffee bars, patient services and catering operations. The Executive Chef 2 will oversee the day-to-day culinary operation for our main cafe that does about 3500 transactions per day. The cafe is open for Breakfast and Lunch only 5 days a week.

Incentives

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday schedule, but must be flexible to work evenings and weekends when needed.

  • Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
  • Have a strong all-round culinary ability and strong craft skills in all areas of professional cooking
  • Have a strong knowledge of food and able to cook using multiple styles of cuisine
  • Constantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole
  • Play a key role and enthusiastically mentors' culinary team

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
