Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking Director 2 of Facilities Operations for various campus accounts throughout the Southwest - including New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. Our successful candidate will develop excellent client-partner relationships, be invested in the culture and campus events, and have a presence on campus to show a strong commitment to the facility, staff, and students. We are looking for candidates open to relocation.

What You'll Do

  • Help clients optimize their business
  • Drive strong business results in Facilities/Engineering
  • Build a dynamic team with diverse knowledge and experience so you can deliver solutions that go beyond expectations
  • Mentor a team, run a business and partner with clients
  • Minimize our footprint through sustainable sourcing and resource-reduction program
  • Identify solutions to deferred maintenance and older infrastructure

What You Bring

  • A proven track record of successful facilities management leadership or related experience in a large, complex campus or hosptial environment, Sodexo background preferred;
  • Exceptional track record of achievement relating to process improvement, change management and operational excellence;
  • Proficient technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems and grounds/landscaping;
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen and stellar client management; and
  • Exceptional customer service, relationship building, and communication skills;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 5 years
