Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II for Cone Health located in Greensboro, NC.

Sodexo's growing Healthcare Technology Management Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with a proven success as an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician II to support Healthcare Technology services.

The main role/responsibilities of the position will be to ensure all related biomedical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and communications skill as well as strong technical skills and a commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner.

What You'll Do

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment functionality and patient safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance testing.
  • Provide timely and efficient service while prioritizing urgent repair needs.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment issues and deliver excellent customer support.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to healthcare technology management.
  • Assist in the installation and calibration of new equipment

What You Bring

  • 3 years of experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical devices independently
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Experience with medical repairs
  • The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices
  • Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
