Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I for Cone Health located in Greensboro, NC.

Sodexo's growing Healthcare Technology Management Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with a proven success as an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician I to support Healthcare Technology services.

The main role/responsibilities of the position will be to ensure all related biomedical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and communications skill as well as strong technical skills and a commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the inspection, testing, and basic maintenance of biomedical equipment under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Repair and troubleshooting of medical devices to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
  • Help document maintenance activities, repairs, and service history accurately and timely.
  • Learn and follow regulatory standards and safety procedures related to healthcare technology.
  • Provide responsive and courteous customer service to clinical staff and end users.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding work progress and equipment status.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment.

  • Associate degree in electronics, biomedical technology, or a related field (or currently enrolled in a relevant program)

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and/or equivalent of military BMET program and/or AAMI certified
