Snowflake's App and Collaboration team builds platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake AI Data Cloud and Collaboration to enable sharing in Data Cloud with access to powerful data and AI/ML API resources on Snowflake.

AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER - APP AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM TEAM YOU WILL:

• Have technical expertise to lead a team of engineers and highly impactful initiatives for platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake Data Cloud's App & Collaboration.
• As a SWE Manager manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy, and help develop your team
• Innovate and build highly secured and reliable software to allow customers to be in Data Cloud.
• Design and implement highly available distributed platforms within the global Snowflake.
• Revolutionize how organizations leverage data and AI as a strategic business asset.
• Ensure operational readiness of the platform and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability, observability, and performance.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER - APP AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM, WILL HAVE:

• 10+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale distributed infrastructure platforms in production.
• Strong fundamental computer science skills.
• Previous work experience as a software engineer in distributed infrastructures is a plus.
• Fluency in Java or C++.
• Knowledge of AI Lifecycle and database internals is a big plus.
• Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building platforms and APIs.
• Experience driving company cross functional initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

• The estimated base salary range for this role is $235,000 - $368,000.
• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
