We’re looking for a Senior Director of People Analytics & HRIS to join the People Team!
What you'll do:
Play a key role in managing the HR data and technology portfolio, helping to continue to scale the organization globally through insights, self-service, and company-wide reporting and processes.
Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you will partner with key stakeholders across the organization to focus on developing and maintaining substantial analytics to help drive business decisions, and you will create short and long-term goals and objectives for system builds, operations, processes, data flows, and security as it relates to our People processes.
Build out end-to-end solutions for our data analytics, insights and tech platform while simplifying the overall system design for end users.
Lead and develop members of the People Analytics & HR Technology teams, who are responsible for implementing and maintaining HR technology tools (ATS, HCM, LMS) maintaining candidate and employee data, reporting, and analytics
Develop a strategy to optimize HRIS systems to meet workforce requirements and drive accuracy and insights
Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes and partner with teams across People, Finance, and Legal on implementation of solutions. Perform regular business process reviews to make ongoing suggestions and create action plans
Lead HR data and technology projects by:
Obtaining key partner buy-in
Developing requirements
Building/testing
Preparing and delivering change management
Implementing
Conducting post-mortems for feedback and improvements
Collaborate with members of the Executive Leadership team, the People Leadership team, IT, and Legal to develop and iterate upon processes to create a world-class HR technology platforms
Develop and sustain appropriate controls to maintain reliable data and enable scalable reporting solutions
Monitor and enhance service delivery standards to ensure global consistency, ultimately enhancing both manager and team member experiences
Leverage subject matter expertise to advise on HR data and technology-related matters across the organization
Oversee sourcing new software programs, implementation, contract renewals, and external vendor management
Provide guidance and leadership to People Analytics function, including iterating and delivering on how we approach People Analytics at Snap, including:
Partner with People team and business leaders to understand key business questions and design analyses to answer these questions;
Identify and deliver on opportunities to support key People Team initiatives through robust analyses and dashboards, ranging from diversity to employee engagement to talent processes;
Develop methods to measure effectiveness of all people programs, uncover insights and opportunities; and
Build capacity within the People organization to utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making. Create resources, dashboards, and training for HR and Recruiting teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced skills in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with SQL, Tableau, Looker, Visier and/or other related reporting and analytic tools
Experience with SPSS, Python or R
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, both as a leader of teams and as a leader of projects
Demonstrated experience handling confidential information and critical business processes
Expertise in developing and automating dashboards and key-metrics
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and statutes related to employment, benefits, and payroll
Sound judgment when working through complex issues
Ability to analyze, problem solve, and clearly communicate observations and recommendations
Executive presence with a business mindset
A track record as a trusted business partner to senior executives
A track record of developing and managing a successful, high-performing team
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organization—a true team player
Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

Minimum Qualifications:
10-15+ years of experience in people analytics or HR Data and Technology
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Experience providing consultative support for executives and People Teams, translating business goals into analytics solutions, including providing data for all levels of the organization from line level to Board of Director
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with a combination of HR data, technology (including Workday HCM), and project management experience Strong understanding of the importance of data integrity and reliability, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
5+ years of experience in People Analytics, utilizing data to drive people insights and solutions across hiring, development, and retention.
