What you'll do...
Walmart Sourcing is looking for a Senior Director, People Business Partner who will partner with our growing business. The Senior Director, People Business Partner is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all HR functions and initiatives that support the organization's goals and business strategies. The individual will provide vision and direction for the People team, ensuring development and implementation of talent management, culture development, associate engagement, and organizational growth strategies. The Senior Director will collaborate with senior leadership in the Food and Consumables business to shape a dynamic, inclusive, and performance driven culture, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. Leaders look to our People professionals to be thought partners, influence strategy, optimize working models, and achieve results. Walmart Sourcing operates in 23 countries serving 100 million customers every week.

You'll make an impact by...
• Develop and execute comprehensive People strategies, aligning with the organization's business objectives.
• Provide thought leadership in organizational development, culture transformation, and talent management.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive change initiatives and improve business outcomes through people strategies.
• Lead workforce planning efforts, ensuring the Food and Consumables team has the skills and capacity to meet current and future demands.
• Create and foster an environment of associate engagement, recognition, and positive company culture.
• Setting the vision, goals, and expectations to accelerate the team for scale and dynamic growth
• Defining and driving an agile talent strategy in partnership with Walmart International People leadership
• Working with leadership cross-functionally to deeply understand the business and proactively identify trends and challenges

• Can design and lead multiple strategic efforts simultaneously and prioritize based on company and team objectives
• Leads efficiently under pressure, drive projects to completion and meet deadlines
• Is flexible and adapts quickly to shifting company or team goals using data-driven and creative approaches
• Directs consistent execution of the company's people agenda by owning and executing key people priorities/programs including cyclical people processes, workforce plans and org design priorities, talent reviews, recruiting, deeper in the organization; supporting portfolio of talent management projects, programs, and processes (for example, talent review, succession planning, performance management processes, change management);support in development, execution of engagement and retention programs; and coaching associates and managers through people processes -performance, talent review and development.
• Supports and drives the development, execution and implementation of practices, systems, and personnel-related activities by anticipating and understanding current and future process and value gaps; ensuring adequate project staffing and resource allocations; overseeing consistent implementation of people programs; developing methodologies to report program and process performance; and driving continuous improvement projects in partnership with people partners and business.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
