We're looking for a Quality Engineering Tech Lead to join the Augmented Reality team!
What you’ll do:
Own the test automation strategy for Lens Studio and promote your vision for holistic Quality Assurance team-wide
Work with engineering and product leadership to define goals that meet the needs of our growing platform
Execute to achieve those goals through individual contributions and by directing the work of other Quality Engineers
Build reliable frameworks that enable automation test coverage for weekly, nightly and continuous integration test strategies at scale
Evaluate 3rd party automation test frameworks and make recommendations to leadership
Work with the development team to incorporate the design and implementation of automation test cases into their feature planning
Gather requirements and extend automation frameworks to support behavior driven development
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Familiarity with build and release processes, including continuous integration and release sign-offs
A proven understanding of software product life cycles
Strong technical leadership and mentorship skills
Strong computer science fundamentals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience
7+ years of Quality Engineering experience
Experience with manual and automated testing
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building and supporting operations for a remote device lab
Hands-on experience testing consumer-facing technologies and applications using automation frameworks
Experience with desktop application development and testing
Experience with Python, Jenkins, and Squish
Creative tools and AR/game engine experience (e.g. Maya, Unreal, Unity)
