We’re looking for a Learning & Development Program Manager III to join the People Team!


 

What you’ll do:

  • Reimagine onboarding at Snap and design/implement a completely new approach for the new hire journey through the end of their first year

  • Connect with onboarding partners around the business to align on a centralized process for onboarding new hires

  • Drive a roadmap for development-related programs to meet the needs of our new hire population within their first year

  • Manage senior partners from Human Resources and from Snap’s business units to create culturally relevant programming

  • Conduct thoughtful needs analysis and research to design programs that embed our values and build capabilities the Snap way, using instructor-led, virtual and experiential modalities

  • Facilitate engaging and exciting instructor-led experiences that resonate with Snap audiences

  • Review and continually evolve our current onboarding program in the short term in order to meet the immediate needs of our new hire population

  • Create reinforcement mechanisms to embed learning

  • Measure the success and return on investment of development programs

  • Strategically maximize LMS capabilities, and continuously refresh development content 

  • Manage L&D vendor relationships for externally-led programs

  • Model and reinforce our cultural values of being kind, smart, and creative    

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A passion for Snap’s mission

  • Strong partnership skills with the ability to manage group dynamics to achieve extraordinary results

  • Experience building, managing, or facilitating an onboarding program

  • Ability to balance speed and quality of delivered product 

  • Extraordinary agility and ability to thrive through change; Composure through ambiguity

  • Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage multiple programs while maintaining strong detail orientation and meeting ambitious deadlines

  • A solutions-oriented approach, with an ability to creatively solve problems 

  • Deep end-to-end program management experience

  • Ability to build trust and relationships quickly, and to establish fast credibility 

  • Experience creating course content and instructional resources 

  • Fluency in appealing to different-sized audiences, various learning preferences , and different levels of engagement among learners 

  • Ability to influence and make impactful communication with all levels of the organization

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 

  • Ability to generate a high volume of novel ideas while learning through experimentation

  • Lead project teams through innovation processes to create unique and creative programs

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Docs

Minimum qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, OD, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience 

  • 5+ years experience in a Learning & Development or similar role with proven success in managing large programs, facilitation and reinforcement, program design, systems aptitude, and partner communications or related field
