As a member of the Design Strategy team, you will create innovative advertising solutions to help drive Snap Inc’s sales goals. Working from our Los Angeles headquarters, you’ll collaborate with the Creative Strategy and Regional Sales teams, as well as external brands and agencies, to various projects simultaneously to deliver creative assets consisting of mobile advertising content, videos/animations, visual concept images, and presentations. Design and produce a wide range of projects across Snapchat products, including but not limited to; Sponsored filters, Ad content and AR experiences.
Collaborate with the Design Strategy lead and team members on projects, as well as work independently.
Attend internal Design Strategy, Sales and Creative Strategy meetings and wider cross-functional sessions within the business.
Own end-to-end design process, from concept to creation and beyond.
Present work internally to key stake-holders, providing rationale and justification for your design execution.
Collaborate closely with Strategists and Sales to ensure design executions reflect the creative challenge and results in a high quality end-product.
Work closely with our cross-functional partners to stay up-to-date on project, platform, and product developments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Storyboarding, Illustration, Static & motion design and editing.
Knowledge of relevant design and technology trends that contribute to the progress of personal and team output.
Possess strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. This entails teamwork, collaboration, and an ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Ability to be an ambassador for design best-practice and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Intermediate to expert skill knowledge of in motion design and editing tools: Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Proficient in presentation software such as Keynote and Google Slides.
Intermediate in 3D (C4D/Maya) with a willingness to continue developing.
Outstanding online portfolio demonstrating a high level of creative execution, a strong understanding of design fundamentals (colour, composition, typography, animation) and full creative workflow across the Adobe creative suite.
Demonstrated success in creating beautiful video advertising content, print design and result-focused marketing designs.
Show a strong understanding of creative execution with respect to Sales goals, messaging, and strategy.
Proactive, self-starter seeking appropriate guidance and input from others when needed.
In-house, brand or agency experience a plus.
