We’re looking for a Communications Coordinator, APAC to join the Communications Team! 

What you will do:

  • Work closely with the Communications team in APAC to drive positive media stories 

  • Be responsible for helping the team to work smarter, more efficiently and to stay organised.

  • Support the team in the execution and monitoring of communications activities as well as day-to-day administrative tasks such as creating communications materials such as press releases, managing media assets and tracking and reporting analytics on campaigns.  

  • The role will  involve coordinating with local agencies and working closely with them to ensure that they deliver projects in a timely manner and occasional project management responsibilities.

  • Play a dynamic, central role with team-wide exposure through a combination of media relations support and organizational oversight.

  • Support drafting briefing materials and media messaging, maintaining media lists, compiling coverage reports, and performing media and competitive analysis.

  • Own team organizational documents, such as meeting agendas, strategy planning documents, project timelines amongst others.

  • As the team member closest to breaking news and media trends, act as a resource for the team by identifying strategic coverage opportunities for Snap ongoing and keeping the team informed of media landscape updates.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices.

  • Help with the planning and execution of media events.

  • Pitching to media and other outreach activities.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Fluent in English.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. 

  • Understanding of the media landscape and culture.

  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to experiment in order to learn and identify creative solutions to problems.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to build relationships cross-functionally and across different time zones.

  • Well organised and proactive.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in public relations and communications
