We’re looking for an AR Developer Relations Lead to join Snap Inc! As a member of the AR Platform Partnerships team, you will manage the recruitment and relationship management of the top AR creators and developers in Japan. Working from our Tokyo office, you’ll collaborate with Camera Platform, Marketing, and Snap Lab to help scale our Lens Creator and Developer Ecosystem in Japan and support upcoming initiatives like Camera Kit.

  • What you’ll do:

    • Build awareness, motivate, and refine messaging to attract AR creators and developers to build with Lens Studio

    • Own custom outreach, onboarding, and relationship management for top tier AR creators and developers in Japan with the technical skills to build complex Lens Studio experiences independently or in teams

    • Help identify gaps in the Lens Studio developer experience and communicate those to our product teams

    • Build a deep knowledge of Lens Studio, Snap AR, and Snapchat offerings to articulate how these tools can enable developers to be successful

    • Maintain resources for AR creators and developers in Japan who are advancing their skills with Lens Studio

    • Help create systems to ensure creators and developers are delivering partners business value through Lenses

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners in Japanese and English

    • Analytical skills which allow for creative methods to achieve results and solve problems cross functionally

    • Agile mindset with ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-moving environment

    • An enthusiast who has a strong passion for the future of AR/VR 

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

    • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Minimum Qualifications: 

    • BS/BA degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience 

    • 2+ years of experience in developer relationship management 

    • 2+ years of experience working with AR/VR creators and developers or game developers or technical creators

    • Experience of working within cross-functional teams (developer relations, product, marketing, support, etc)

    • Working understanding of 3D engine software like Lens Studio, Unity and/or 3D modeling and animation software like Maya

  • Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Past entrepreneurial experience is a plus
