Siemens Digital Industries Software seeks a proven and motivated individual to lead the Technology Solutions Sales organization for the Siemens EDA Digital Design Creation Platform (DDCP) business unit, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, EDA Global Sales. In this role, you will lead a global technical sales and business development team in driving multi-year new business campaigns in emerging technology areas for Siemens EDA. You will work across a globally distributed organization, collaborating with regional sales leaders and key stakeholders in R&D to identify and drive plans for high-impact investments and transformation across the company. Through your focus on targeting growth in emerging technology areas for Siemens EDA, you will play a key role in diversifying our business strategies and achieving the #1 position in market.

The successful candidate for this role will have deep experience within the EDA and semiconductor industries and the collaborative orientation to partner with senior leaders across multiple functions and effectively drive business transformation initiatives to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a new technical sales organization, aligning experienced technical sales and business development leaders and teams for digital implementation and test including C-GDS, digital sign-off, DFT and yield solutions through a shared vision and strategy
- Lead partnerships with regional sales teams to develop focus and efficiency around multi-year new business campaigns and drive growth in emerging technology areas for our DDCP business unit
- Oversee effective collaboration across field technical, business development, and sales teams, with a focus on proactive identification and development of new business opportunities
- Manage and forecast the business funnel to drive revenue, providing transparency to senior management
- Create and maintain effective relationships with leaders of the DDCP business unit; facilitate open communication of new business opportunities and alignment on top priorities across R&D and Sales
- Oversee resource allocation, including budgets, of global team of 90 employees spanning 13 countries across the Americas, Asia Pacific, and EMEA. Plan growth for the team to support business growth
Role Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years' experience in the EDA and semiconductor design or electronics industries and proven knowledge of semiconductor design and EDA tool flows to formulate the right strategy, establish credibility with teams, and connect with customers, showcasing the desire to uncover emerging trends from our customers that develop into new business opportunities.
- Leadership & Management: Collaboration, change management, strategy development, leading in a global, matrixed environment
- Business: Transformation to expand to include new markets - horizontal portfolio development and enablement
- Technical: Broad understanding EDA technical domains and flows, electrical engineering background
- Functional: Business management, sales and marketing expertise, customer relationship management, M&As; dedicated focus on competitive, customer, and technology landscapes to inform strategic outlook
- A relentless focus on the customer with a track record of success selling complex technical solutions
- Experience managing a skilled technical sales or business development team with a large portfolio of business with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Possess outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills to all organizational levels, including executive leadership. Evangelize DDCP solutions with customer executives and at industry events
- An entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated leadership through partnership and collaboration across a complex, global enterprise
- Proven success in attracting, motivating, and retaining high-performance sales or technical sales teams, including experienced technical leaders; demonstrated track record in building internal and external pipelines of talent in a small and niche talent pool
- Ability to travel frequently is required

The total cash compensation range for this position is $249,900 to $499,800 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. If you reside in the San Francisco Bay Area the total cash compensation range for this position is $249,600 to $499,200 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
