We are looking for a talented and ambitious UX/UI Design Intern. This individual will have the opportunity to develop products used by millions of Hardware Designers and Purchasing Agents across the Electronics Supply Chain. This is a hands-on role in which you will be making a significant contribution to the growth of existing products and the success of new product initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Senior Designers to improve existing products, bring new concepts to life, contribute to our UX/UI framework and iterate on design concepts based on user feedback, usability testing results, and stakeholder input.
  • Document design decisions, rationale and specifications; present design solutions to internal teams.
  • Create process flow charts, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Assist with UX design research, user testing, and drawing insights.
  • Evangelize UX throughout the organization.

Who/What We Are Looking For:

  • Actively enrolled as a university student and in pursuit of a degree in a relevant field such as Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Online portfolio with examples of UI/UX design such as mockups, wireframes, prototypes, freelance projects or school related completed projects.
  • Fundamental knowledge of UX/UI design principles such as having an understanding of user research, user personas, information architecture, usability testing, and user-centered design processes. Basic knowledge of CSS and HTML.
  • A commitment to exquisite aesthetics and elegant UI/UX. Passion to create, communicate, and collaborate
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, across a diverse set of audiences; excellent attention to detail and a user-centric mindset.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new tools, techniques, and design trends. Show a proactive attitude toward learning and professional growth.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company.

The hourly range for this position is $43.27 to $48.08. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
