Software Development Co-op

As an intern in Product Engineering Software (PES), you willdive into developing our premiere NX CAD software. You will have theopportunity to design, develop, modify, and implement software programming forproducts, with focus on surpassing customers' expectations by achieving high qualityand on time delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the overallfunctional quality of the released product on all required platforms andmechanism. You will also create, document, and execute software designswhich may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas. Whileyou will work with general supervision on complex projects and have theopportunity to partner with senior engineers, it will also be important to actwith independent judgment when necessary. Projects will focus on below maindiscipline:

• NX development
• Use the Siemens CAD software, NX, for developmentwork
• Experience with C++ and object orientedprogramming
• Assistin maintaining our existing software product by analyzing and defining solutionsto reported problems
• Workwith customers to understand and improve our NX CAD software
• Ensureongoing quality of our software product for our customers

Organization Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or a first year Master's student, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Prior software development related work experience is preferred
• Significant programming experience with C/C++, JavaScript preferred
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling Software is a plus
• Passionate, driven, and proactive
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective organizational and time management skills

• Desire to continuously improve and learnabout new areas

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Inspires collaboration

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00.Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
