Global Sales and Customer Success Intern
The Sales Operations team within Siemens Digital Industries Software is responsible for supporting the Americas sales organization and driving operational excellence. We work closely with sales teams to streamline processes, analyze data, and implement tools and technologies that enable our sales professionals to be more effective and efficient.
As a sales intern, you will play a critical role in optimizing the sales workflow and enhancing the productivity of our sales force. You will work across various sales-related databases and systems, gathering and analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement. This may include evaluating sales metrics, forecasting trends, and providing insights to help the sales teams make more informed decisions.
In addition to data analysis, you may also be involved in implementing and maintaining sales tools and technologies. This could involve testing new software, training users, and documenting processes to ensure seamless adoption across the organization.
As part of your role, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the Siemens Experience Center and MxD (Manufacturing x Digital) teams. The Experience Center is a state-of-the-art facility that showcases Siemens' digital solutions and helps customers envision the potential of digital transformation. MxD is a leading digital manufacturing institute that partners with Siemens to drive innovation in smart manufacturing. As a sales intern, you may assist in building out processes and workflows to support the customer engagement activities at the Experience Center and MxD. This may include developing data collection and reporting mechanisms to track the impact of customer workshops and demonstrations, as well as implementing tools and technologies to streamline the coordination and logistics of these events. By supporting these critical customer-facing initiatives, you will gain exposure to the full sales lifecycle and contribute to enhancing the overall customer experience.

In this role you will proactively:
• Implement and support sales tools and technologies to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the global sales force
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand their workflows and pain points, and propose solutions to streamline processes
• Assist in the coordination and logistics of customer-facing events
• Identify and document best practices, and create training materials to facilitate the adoption of new sales tools and processes
• Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach and maintain the integrity of sales-related data and information
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales operations by identifying areas for optimization and implementing impactful changes
• Gain exposure to the full sales lifecycle and develop a deep understanding of Siemens' sales processes and customer engagement strategies
Organization Requirements:
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, finance, or a technical field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• An innovative mindset with a demonstrated ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00 for technical roles or $18.00 to $44.00 for non-technical positions. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
