Baseline Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
  • Preferred graduation before 2026 (dependent on skillset)
  • Livonia, MI / Plano, TX / Wilsonville, OR / Remote

Our summer internship at Siemens Digital Industries Software is not your average run-of-the-mill experience. You'll be teaming up with crews across the organization to help Siemens rock its digital transformation and go-to-market strategy.

Your mission? Reinforce Siemens' digital transformation by digging deep into our data and discovering cool insights that could offer a huge impact. Don't worry, you won't just be crunching numbers; you'll be working with us on fresh projects, trying out new ways to do things and dabbling with the latest tech (think AI and Big Data). Our vibe is all about encouraging creativity and thinking outside the box. With clear goals and targets, we're all about letting our employees shine and use their unique talents to make a splash globally.

This internship will be a mix of learning and fun through regular interactions with your mentor, manager, and fellow interns. You'll rub shoulders with bigwigs, get to know other departments, and explore paths for your future success. We're looking for someone who's into keeping up with the latest tech trends, loves measuring digital stuff, and is passionate about continuous improvement.

What you will be doing:

  • Review current go-to-market strategies to suggest areas of improvement, backed by data
  • Develop hypotheses and pilot experiments (e.g. A/B tests) to observe results and deduce insights
  • Analyze and interpret trends or patterns related to customer demographics, trial usage, or purchase data
  • Identify gaps in internal processes where AI can be used to improve efficiency
  • Create meaningful reports and data visualizations using BI tools

Requirements:

  • Studying for a Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, IT or business development fields
  • Aptitude to analyze, and report actionable insights from data
  • Knowledge of digital marketing metrics and best practices
  • Strong writing skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented
  • Creative and problem-solving mindset
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate and work with a team
  • Comfortable working in a flexible and less structured environment
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau a plus
  • Experience with Google Analytics a plus
  • Experience with SQL a plus
