Simcenter Prescan is a mature and wide-spread simulation platform for virtual development and validation of active safety and (Highly) Automated Driving systems. Prescan offers high-fidelity simulation models of all sensors relevant for automated driving, and a simulation environment for virtual testing of algorithms for autonomous braking, lane keeping, accident avoidance, etc.

We have an immediate opening for Software Test Engineer. As a part of the development team, you will be working with the developers to explore the product, discuss requirements, find bugs and expose undesirable behavior before we ship it to the customer.
We are looking for a critical thinker, somebody who likes a challenge and is not afraid of diving deep into a problem. Prescan is a complex product, and in our team, we have to come up with designs and solutions to allow the product to scale and grow in the rapidly changing Automotive market.
In this role you will closely work with other software engineers in your Agile scrum team to design and test new functionalities, have a keen eye for high-quality software development techniques, and work with state-of-the-art tools to increase productivity and quality of our software. You will frequently take part in technical discussions with your team to offer a different perspective so we can come up with solutions to complex problems.
We don't need superheroes, just super minds
BSc or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of and experience with Python and/or MATLAB / Simulink
Experience with context driven testing
Exposure to Rapid Software Testing, BBST or similar
Version control and source code management tools such as GitLab, Conan, Artifactory, Jenkins
Considered as a plus: experience with Linux, with the Atlassian tool suite (i.e. Jira, Confluence) or similar, with a Continuous Development and Integration process, with User Interface design and implementation, and with developing complex software systems.
Personality: We are looking for a team player with an analytical mindset, willing to pick up new challenges, someone who is pragmatic, result oriented and inventive regarding complex problems. The ideal candidate is passionate about the combination of software development with our domain application, autonomous driving assistance and car safety.
