About the job:
You will work closely together with other people within and outside of the team. For this we use a hybrid approach with an excellent balance work-from-home/office. Our in-house developed frameworks, tooling and agile approach have indeed proven to be compatible with remote working whereas regular everybody-in-the-office moments allow to keep the team spirit alive. Software development tasks are not limited to a detail aspect but encompass the complete cycle which includes:
- Develop modules and scripts to use in regression tests' validation scripts;
- Develop TCL scripts and modules for using in regression tests;
- Understand the tested feature (mathematical model, parameters, etc), do manual testing;
- Develop test plans;
- Develop functional and feature regression tests;
- Look through the results of test runs, inspect the reasons of filed tests and fix them;
- Run regression tests for specific custom builds by a developer request, inspect the results;
- Perform Manual testing
All about you:
You have a Master/Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, or similar. For this internship it is necessary to be enrolled in an engineering program. ;
- Basic scripting/coding skills (knowledge of Unix Shells, TCL, Python, Perl is a plus);
- Ability to search and study documentation;
- Ability to quickly learn new scripting languages;
- Basic knowledge of object oriented programming;
- Quickly understand the tested feature;
- Prepare test plans (with assistance);
- Contact with developers if needed, discuss testing aspects;
- Quickly study software testing tools (testing framework, GUI testing tools);
- Good English communication skills;
- Team working capability;
