The Development Director is a leading member and key stakeholder of product teams. The Development Director is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team(s) and ensuring that all product team members have a clear understanding of customer requirements, associated business value with the means to deliver a complete, performant, secure, durable product. The Development Director must also create content that will be used for repeatable communication across all team to drive understanding of delivery and development concepts to maximize quality and productivity. The Development Director will also have to have a deep understanding of how Continuous Delivery (CD), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud deployments, Container management and agile delivery.

The Development Director is key for brining our products to help the client/customer become successful when using our solutions. They are ultimately accountable and responsible for the alignment of the business value and product team delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with all clients & Product mangers, understand where products need to go to drive business value

• Determine "what" goes into all our products and how we can deliver

• Critical contributor and driver of the roadmap for quarterly roadmaps

• Ensure that Roadmaps include both Functional and Non-functional items are accounted for in products

• Ensure we have a readily available product that considerers and covers, compliance, security, operations and other common disciplines

• Contribute to Operations strategy planning, design, implementation, and maintenance activities

• Deliver improvements to source code management, deployment, operations, maintenance, cost control, security, monitoring, and audit tools and processes.

• Be part of maintaining a 24x7, global, highly available SaaS environment according to internal and external service levels agreements.

• Ensure the production environment is operating in accordance with established procedures and best practices. Provide escalated support for high severity and critical network events

• Elicit and collect stakeholder requests

• Coach/ support development team's questions and resolve conflict regarding features and requirements

• Deliver input for Product Owners & Product managers

• Support roll-out of the system, presentation, workshops, training for sales and engineering

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• BA in computer science/equivalent experience, information systems, or related field.

• Previous working experience as a product owner.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

The salary range for this position is $212,400 to $382,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
