We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to the development and management of systems that enhance customer experience. You will gain hands-on experience in deploying product updates, troubleshooting production issues, and integrating solutions to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in software engineering, a keen understanding of DevOps principles, and a collaborative attitude to work effectively with developers and engineers.
What you'll be doing
- Apply principles of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) in the development lifecycle.
- Assist in managing code releases, contributing to the smooth operation of software applications.
- Take ownership of automation improvements, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Help monitor system performance and availability, while contributing to system maintenance tasks.
- Understand and work with complex IT systems and system architectures.
- Assist with system troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
- Implement robust security measures to protect data and systems.
- Optimize infrastructure costs by adopting effective resource management practices.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Basic experience or interest in DevOps or system engineering roles.
- Familiarity with Linux OS, including virtualization and Linux commands.
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git and GitLab.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Familiar with continuous integration and build management tools like Jenkins and GitLab workflows.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Familiar with security concerns (server hardening, two-factor authentication, SSL, VPN)
- Strong problem-solving abilities are important, you should be adept at troubleshooting and have the capability to engage in analytical reasoning to solve technical issues.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest technologies, methods, and best practices in DevOps is critical.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
