As part of our Global Cloud Applications team, we are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to be based in KL/Selangor/Penang.
Responsibilities:
• Act as Cloud Infrastructure consultant to strategic pursuits, providing guidance through the complexity of Infrastructure architecture options and the long-term roadmap for the solution.

• Provide direction for infrastructure design, sizing, security recommendations, database, Operating system, and network recommendations by demonstrating various cloud service available from major public cloud provider internally.
• Work under self-management within project and/ or task constraints.
• Validate automated solution provide by platform team, refining the required Solution to create a customer-specific version, with specific Business Use Cases and Capabilities where required, and set up requirements to value traceability.
• Review and analyse architectural blueprint that outlines infrastructure solutions that integrate across applications, systems, and platforms to achieve business objectives.
• Leverage thorough understanding of network functionality, hardware platforms, Virtual environments, Cloud technology, and industry trends to lead infrastructure teams to design, analyse, define, and assemble viable and robust infrastructure solution elements delivering capabilities for complex networks, platforms, and environments including VMs and Cloud.
• Leverage knowledge of common Operating systems, database solutions, and installation / configuration standard methodologies to advise project teams for a successful deployment.
• Maintain project documentation for required standards, processes, and policies related to infrastructure solution delivery.
• Assist in post-implementation continuous-improvement efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality.
• Support and maintain the CSO IT security and compliance management strategy according to relevant industry standards such as SOC2, ISO27001 etc and develop appropriate processes and procedures.
• Review Cloud infrastructure actual usage as against planned usage and have an automated housekeeping activity.
• Handle infrastructure change requests & troubleshoot network or connectivity related outages for live customers.
• Coordinate with customer representatives for technical and infrastructure topics
Requirements:
• Candidates based in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor and/or Penang are welcome to apply.
• 8+ years of total experience in cloud infrastructure with major cloud providers like AWS, MS Azure, etc.
• Deep "hands-on" knowledge of following AWS services: EC2, EBS, Snapshots, AMIs, S3, IAM, EFS, RDS, VPC, subnet, networking, Security groups, routing tables and various gateways.
• Knowledge of other cloud vendor's services such as Azure, GCP etc would be a plus.
• 3+ years of experience on Linux and/or Windows servers with proficiency in command line operations.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in any popular DevOps tools like Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub etc are desirable.
• Knowledge of container technology, Kubernetes and related ecosystem is desirable.
• Knowledge of PAM tools like CyberArk would be a plus.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft office tools - particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting, Excel Macros, other automation tools are desirable.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Closely adhere with company SOPs.
• Open to work on weekends as per shift roster.
