Job Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers via telephone, other electronic means, and at customer locations
Assist customers in deploying Siemens EDA's Calibre manufacturing software to solve design challenges
Track and update customer issues using defined Siemens EDA's processes and tracking tools
Develop and deliver technical training on new features and product updates
Develop technical content for Siemens EDA's knowledgebase
Communicate customers' technical requirements as well as customer issues to the product and sales
Job Qualifications
MSc or BSEE required Minimum 1 year of industry experience in IC Design
Good understanding of custom/ASIC design flow and physical verification
Working familiarity of Linux OS, and previous experience with scripting or Tcl/Python/Perl programming preferred
Familiar with Siemens EDA's Calibre tools is a must
Knowledge of competitive EDA tools and products in the area of physical implementation, physical verification is highly desired.
Requires well developed verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong ability to learn and explore new technologies with good problem solving skills
