The role
The Sales Executive, Acute role is responsible for driving strategic growth through business development in the acute care space. This role is focused on sourcing, building, and converting a high-quality sales pipeline within hospitals and healthcare systems. They will play a key role in accelerating ShiftKey's market expansion in a high-growth business segment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, a proven track record of exceeding quotas, and the ability to operate with strategic autonomy while influencing internal stakeholders and client decision-makers.
Where you'll work
This is a 100% onsite role at our office in Irving, TX.
What you'll be doing
- Initiate outbound calls and qualify potential clients for ShiftKey products and services.
- Maintain regular contact with various client groups to help meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, and contract statuses within Salesforce.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to refine sales strategies and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Ensure all agreements adhere to ShiftKey's pricing models, contract terms, and regulatory requirements, avoiding unauthorized pricing reductions.
- Track and optimize personal commission structures, ensuring eligibility for incentive payouts based on worked hours and account performance.
- Maintain pipeline and activity tracking in Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in acute care staffing needs, articulating value propositions tailored to client pain points and operational goals.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Sales, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- 2+ years of direct experience in hospital sales (staffing, healthcare IT, EMR solutions, etc.).
- Comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, customer personas and industry trends
- Proven ability to create and execute strategic sales plans, driving consistent revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data to inform decision-making and optimize processes.
