Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced People Operations Data Analyst II.

Role Overview:

The Total Rewards Data Analyst collects, analyzes, and reports on compensation and human resources data to support data-driven decision making and improve HR processes and outcomes. This position is responsible for providing analysis, quality, and accuracy of employee data. This role compiles reports, analyzes and synthesizes data to communicate key Total Rewards and HR metrics, satisfy reporting requirements and to identify areas of concern or best practices for HR leadership to review in more detail. Ensures HCM transactions and data updates are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies. Assists with HCM and compensation systems administration. Assist with implementation and maintenance of upgrades and system changes. Monitor and audit use of systems to ensure data integrity. Develop processes that optimize usability and reporting capabilities of the HR data systems. Provide support and training to end-users as needed.

Research current compensation data for trends and patterns over time and the impact on Compensation programs and initiatives. Analyze the costs associated with compensation-related change initiatives in support of a pay for performance environment that is market competitive. Analyze the most relevant facts & data to support assessing internal and external comparisons, as well as problem solving. Performs complex analyses as required to assist issues identification, organizational risk assessment, and decision-making processes. Additionally, this position may develop and manage information to support decision making and improve existing reporting systems.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field required.
  • Experience:
    • 3 - 5 years of experience in HR, Compensation, Data Analytics or similar function.
    • Dayforce or other HCM/HRIS system experience preferred.
    • Power BI, Excel, SQL or other data analysis/reporting experience preferred.
  • Key Competencies:
  • Thorough understanding of compensation best practices and audit and regulatory environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills including experience with data models, v-lookup, pivot-tables, and formulas, and a willingness to learn macros.
  • Strong math skills and understanding of statistics and regression analysis.
  • Experience with HCM, Dayforce is desirable.
  • Experience with surveys, Radford, and MarketPay is desirable.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written, across different levels and functions of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and learning abilities, with a strong desire for continuous improvement and excellence in work.
  • Resilient when facing challenges and flexible to work extended hours to meet commitments.
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • Must be able to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
