For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $216,400 - $324,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position reports to the Enterprise Sales VP and will own the strategy and lead business development for the Water/Waste Water market segment in the United States. The ideal candidate will drive intelligent and profitable growth of the segment business in the region, including all necessary actions to ensure qualitative and quantitative success. This professional will be responsible for building a long-term strategy for the segment in the region and leveraging a number of strategic priorities to reach order targets. They will serve as a trusted advisor to all levels of key customer stakeholders in the segment.

Responsibilities
  • Strategize and prioritize intelligent and profitable growth of the Segment business in the region.
  • Build a long-term strategy for the segment in the region, from account selection to engagement of the ideal relationship profiles and Go-To-Market (GTM) motions.
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) on segment market trends and insights, versed in the latest trends and actionable insights.
  • Define and communicate unique value proposition(s) for segment offerings.
  • Develop and influence a broad, cross-functional network within Schneider Electric (consisting of various sales organizations, product development, business development, and strategy teams) to drive growth in the segment.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing to co-create plan(s) to drive SE messaging within the segment.
  • Penetrate key customers' environments and build a long-term partnership with multiple stakeholders in the customers' organizations, aligned with the strategy.
  • Develop and foster C-Suite relationships with key customers.
  • Monitor the pipeline using platforms such as Salesforce and support important opportunities to close key deals.
  • Animate a community of relevant relationships within Schneider Electric to ensure that targeted accounts are well supported to maximize profitable growth opportunities.
  • Report on segment strategy, priorities, and progress to senior management in Schneider Electric.

  • Financial acumen: able to review and interpret financial statements/reports.
  • Passionate and dynamic professional with the energy and ability to build trust and foster collaboration across a complex matrix environment; Collaborative team-oriented style.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 Years of experience in strategy, marketing, or sales in relevant segments.
  • Experience in Solution Selling, Outcome-Based Selling, and Customer-Centric Selling with an emphasis on C-suite executive relationship building.
  • Demonstrate strong personal leadership with a coaching and collaborative team-oriented leadership style.
  • Resourceful and self-starter attitude, interest in rolling up one's sleeves, getting things done, and pushing the organization to deliver.
  • Knowledge of energy management products and applications and an understanding of Schneider Electric offerings are preferred (knowledge of Competitive offerings is a plus).
