Upstream & Downstream Supply Chain Leader

Looking for a Upstream and Downstream Supply Chain Leader for our site in Apodaca, NL.

Key responsabilities

  • Organizes the upstream and downstream flows within the brand label / contract manufactures partners and improves the manufacturing SC performance.
  • Responsible to run the Distribution Requirement Planning, Manufacturing Production Scheduling and to set and release the vendor forecasts.
  • Ensures the update, quality and consistency of key parameters of supply and stock management.

Main activities
  • Run the MPS and the distribution requirement planning process for its perimeter of product x DC in collaboration with SIOP leaders & demand planners.
  • Define and update the parameters of supply and stock management including ramp-up & ramp-down to achieve the target service level while reducing unhealthy stock and express cost / SIOP (Master Production Plan)
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of key data: Lead Time, Quantity, Stocking policy.
  • Set and release the Vendor forecast and to manage the gap between these forecasts and the real supply demand.
  • Manage the Vendor Logistics Terms and Condition including improvement of the replenishment parameters (Supplier lead time, Minimum Order quantity, Frequency, ...)
  • Organize of the upstream flows with our suppliers and to improve the suppliers SC performance
  • Define and manage the level of the parameters of supply and stock management of RM/Components according to the MPS to supply customer requirement while reducing the unhealthy stock.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management,
  • Business Management, Engineering, or related field is required.
  • Strong background in ERP systems is required (SAP/Oracle experience is preferred).
  • Previous experience in scheduling and planning.
  • Desire to lead peers through progressive change.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
