UKG Senior Functional Analyst

Join Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, as a UKG Senior Functional Analyst. This position is a key role within our HR Services team, reporting to the Regional Product Owner in Payroll and Time Management, Europe. As part of Schneider Electric, you will collaborate closely with country HR Services teams, business units, cross-functional teams, and HR/Payroll integrations to support product and feature requirements.

We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in Kronos/UKG applications, possessing a deep understanding and hands-on experience in all aspects of the Kronos/UKG application suite, including timekeeping, accruals, attendance, activities, scheduling, and functional knowledge of Boomi integrations and cross-reference tables.

This role is integral to our project team, where you will own and lead assigned tasks, seek assistance when needed, and support future solutions for implementations, acquisitions, and process improvement initiatives. Our goal is to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions that adhere to the HR Services Operational Model. You will continuously deliver UKG product solutions and enriched experiences to our employees, ensuring operational and project success with a comprehensive understanding of the various UKG modules. We value self-driven individuals who are always looking for ways to improve the product to make it better, faster, and more user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage UKG operations, enhancements, and projects as a UKG configurations expert and the voice of the customer/HR Services team.
  • Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the UKG system in supporting business operations, following best practices on design decisions, and driving resolutions while working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Gather and document requirements, prepare design documents, and support testing of technical solutions as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to UKG applications and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any issues or opportunities for improvement within the UKG system.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and resources for users.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on UKG applications and processes.
  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of new features and updates.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure timely and effective resolution of any system-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and resources for users and records of all UKG-related processes and procedures.
  • Strive for continuous improvement and innovation in the use and optimization of the UKG system.
  • Drive strong relationships and governance across teams and vendors.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • 5+ years of relevant HR functional experience for IT transformation projects in global large-scale organizations.
  • Experience in driving complex stakeholder engagements and workshops.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey messages concisely.
  • Strong command over MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and excellent presentation skills.
  • HR certifications or certifications in time, attendance, and payroll aspects are an added advantage.
