TENDER MANAGER ASSOCIATE

This role will bring you working within tendering team , being responsible for providing quotations and proposals to customers. You will interpret complex customer requirements and build solution offers which add value for the customer. You will deliver best in class technical solution using robust and vigorous design tools and processes .

Work from home

Other countries : work from home with occasional travel to Bratislava office.

  • Ensure a high degree of collaboration and teamwork is established between the tendering team & all Business Units, Application Centers, and Stakeholders
  • Analyze from simple to high complexity/multi technology RFQs
  • Ensure the best Schneider offer is available and assist the customer and sales team with technical & commercial information
  • Prepare Offer documentation (for simple & complex quotations)
  • Maintain regular contact with project stakeholders and support final negotiations with customers to win the order
  • Management of the overall tendering process from early tendering stage to receipt of order, co-ordination of all Inside Group and Outside Group stakeholders
  • Engagement and co-ordination of all respective Approvers & SME's in a timely manner and participate in bid reviews as required
  • Follow with technical team compliance with customer specifications and documentation / validation of our technical solution and challenge for added value engineering
  • Manage tender risk analysis with SRMs (Solution Risk manager)

Personality requirements and skills
  • Master's degree (preferably in Engineering)
  • Fluent English (min. C1), other languages are a plus
  • Proven experience in projects or solution environment
  • At least 1 year experience in tendering activities or similar role
  • Understanding of projects around electrical distribution, power supply, data centers is advantage
  • Ability to understand, influence & convince in a complex matrixial environment
  • Attitude to withstand time pressure and stress while keeping high performance level
  • Ability to learn from others, share her/his knowledge, coach others and collaborate efficiently
