We are seeking a highly experienced Tender Manager with a minimum of 10 years in managing tenders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive techno-commercial proposals for both external and internal customers. This role involves formulating pre-sales contract strategies and collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and technical/engineering teams to structure proposals, contracts, and bid documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tender Management: Oversee the complete tendering process, ensuring the timely submission of high-quality bids that meet customer requirements and adhere to the company standards.
- Strategy Development: Define and implement effective tender strategies in collaboration with marketing, sales, and contracts management to maximize business opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the tendering team, fostering effective communication and collaboration to deliver competitive offers within established timelines.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, engineering, and execution teams to gather essential information and validate customer orders.
- Tender Analysis: Analyze complex Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and specifications, providing techno-commercial insights to inform bid strategy and enhance competitiveness.
- Technical Expertise: Lead the technical, financial, legal, and commercial aspects of tenders, focusing on Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) products, automation, and service offerings, including modernization and maintenance.
- Contract Negotiation: Facilitate contract negotiations alongside opportunity leaders, ensuring alignment with Schneider Electric's business interests and compliance with company policies.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business units and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support tender efforts.

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Motivated self-starter with a proactive approach, capable of both leading a team and executing tasks independently.
- In-depth knowledge of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) equipment and protection schemes.
- Familiarity with Schneider Electric's range of obsolete and existing LV and MV spare parts, products, and equipment is a significant advantage.
- Basic knowledge of automation and SCADA systems is preferred.
- Understanding of commercial terms and risk management.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and tendering tools; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
