Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Tender Manager in our Digital Power Systems Tendering Team. This position is responsible for (& not limited to) managing Customer Project Opportunities inline with CPP (Customer Projects Process) that fall within our business internal delegation of authority due to contractual requirements, competitive margins/price, risk, and/or Top line dollar thresholds.
Locations: Must be near one of our Hub Offices and work a hybrid schedule.

What will you do?
Some Typical Responsibilities of this position (but not limited to) are :
- Prepare the final bid proposal (Cost, Price, P&L) for customer project opportunities, taking care of all the risks with support of SMEs, and lead escalation (approval) of bid with senior leadership as per internal delegation of authority.
- Coordinate with SRM (Solution Risk Management) and CPO (Customer Project Officer) counterparts to plan and manage escalation (approvals) requirements.
- Create financials models necessary for financial analysis (P&Ls, cash curves, etc.)
- Develop relationships with SME to efficiently gain and incorporate feedback into offer/bid package.
- Work with Sales (and/or the Customer) to understand the project requirements, required deliverables and develop/deploy a best commercial strategy/solution for commercial success.
- Responsible for the accurate development and understanding of the more complex solutions and effective presentation materials in the form of proposals and RFP responses.
- Coordinate with SMEs for analysis & preparation of pricing and technical document proposals.
- Proficient with bFO, SE Advantage (SEA) or any similar equivalent tools/systems.
- Works within strict deadlines for escalation and submission. Drives company resources efficiently & effectively to meet deadlines.
- In collaboration with Sales, conducts verbal/written follow up with clients after submission of proposals as required.
- Ensure accurate information is included in forecasting reports.
- Prepare documents and work with sales and other functions to effectively handover 'won' projects to execution teams.
- Organize and facilitate Proposal/Contract Transition meetings.
- Follow CPP (Customer Project Process) guideline as well as RACI and record all the mandatory documents/Meeting Notes into repository ex, Tender Tool/SME Approvals/Customer communications/Bid docs/revision history/contract documents/Risk register etc.
- Support other assigned business initiatives/projects to support business growth.

What's in it for you?
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000.00 - $168, 000.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Bachelor's Degree or 5-10 years industry experience.
- Proven Project Management Experience is must
- Proven Quotation experience in the Electrical Industry is a plus.
- Experience in Sales/Commercial/Contracts/Finance is a plus
- Self-motivated team player with good time management, verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge about Power Systems Products (MV/LV Switchgear, Transformers...) and Digital Power Products & Softwares (Easergy Relays, Meters, Services...) is a plus
