For our Services Division, we are looking for a Tender Engineer (M/W/X) who works for the region of the Netherlands, reporting to our office in Hoofddorp.

As a Tender Engineer Power Services, you will quote a broad range of technical services including the start-up, maintenance, testing, retrofit, and upgrade of all Power equipment installed at the customer's site. You will develop close and lasting relationships with customers in different industries.

Daily task and responsibilities

  • Analyze RFQs (Request for Quotations) : Dissect and understand requests for quotation to prepare accurate and competitive tenders.
  • Develop Tenders : Craft tenders considering technical, commercial, and contractual requirements.
  • Support Sales : Actively assist the sales team during customer negotiations and solution finding.
  • Manage Risk : Engage in risk analysis to safeguard company interests.
  • Ensure Compliance : Adhere strictly to bidding process rules and authority delegations.
  • Present Offers : Communicate value propositions to leadership within tight deadlines.

You educate customers on Schneider Electric products and services, and you provide mentoring, coaching and guidance to your colleagues.

You are someone with...
  • An Education Degree : ideally you have a degree Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Service Engineering or similar.
  • Customer focus : Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer.
  • Language Proficiency : you are fluent in both Dutch and English
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT Fluency : Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM related tools.
