Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual with a growth mindset to assume a leadership role to lead the development of a comprehensive strategy, framework, and business model for system-to-system, system-to-cloud, cloud-to-cloud integrations for existing and upcoming software offers. This role will focus on creating robust guidelines and processes to support external developers, fostering a vibrant developer community, and collaborating closely with the CTO and execution teams to establish a cohesive business logic layer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, product management expertise, and a passion for empowering developers to create innovative integration solutions. The position requires strong communication, influencing and analytic skills, technical and business acumen, relationship development skills and a motivational style. Collaboration and partnering within Schneider Electric's global organization and across teams is critical for success.

Primary Responsibilities

Integration Strategy and Framework Development
- Develop and implement a unified integration strategy that harmonizes legacy systems and upcoming software offerings, ensuring a structured approach
- Design a scalable and flexible integration framework that supports diverse use cases and ensures interoperability across products.
- Identify and prioritize integration opportunities to maximize business value and enhance customer satisfaction.

Developer Support and Community Engagement
- Create comprehensive guidelines, best practices, and processes for external developers to facilitate smooth integration with our products.
- Establish and animate a developer community through forums, webinars, and events to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and feedback.
- Develop and maintain a robust set of resources, including API documentation, SDKs, and integration toolkits, to empower developers in their integration efforts.

Collaboration with CTO and Execution Teams
- Work closely with the CTO and engineering teams to define and implement a business logic layer that standardizes integration processes and enhances system interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the business logic layer aligns with overall product architecture and meets the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions with technical teams to identify and address integration challenges and opportunities.

Third-Party Developer Enablement
- Define rules and standards for third-party developers to ensure secure, efficient, and high-quality integrations.
- Build and manage a developer ecosystem, including support channels, certification programs, and community engagement initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate third-party integrations to ensure compliance with established guidelines and best practices.

Product Management and Roadmap Ownership
- Own the product roadmap for integration-related features and capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Define and prioritize requirements for integration tools, APIs, and platforms, with a focus on enhancing the developer experience.
- Monitor and measure the success of integration initiatives through KPIs, developer feedback, and community engagement metrics.

Desired skills and competencies

Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of software integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and middleware technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern software architectures.
- Familiarity with developer tools, SDKs, and API management platforms.

Product Management Expertise
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in software or technology-focused roles.
- Ability to define and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and business models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Leadership and Communication
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with third-party developers, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, or a related role.
- Experience in integration-heavy environments or platform-based ecosystems is highly desirable
