The Supply Chain Planner will work onsite in our West Chester, OH facility and manage a backlog of 200+ orders. They will deal extensively with suppliers to expedite orders and problem solve solutions.
This person could work a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite per week) and can start between 6-8AM
What will you do?
- Work with other Schneider Electric team members to estimate, plan and schedule jobs and provide most up to date supplier information.
- Work with engineering on alternatives to ensure we meet customer requested timelines and events.
- Work with providing succinct project information to scheduling team and implementing new process and system for information sharing of purchasing tasks.
- Support supply chain management planning with reporting current and hypothetical inventory levels.
- Develops strategies to meet Schneider Performance System (SPS) objectives.
- Accountable for evaluating and maintaining Kanban and manufacturing systems in order to effectively manage and control inventory levels.
- Utilize various tools and coordinate with different departments to provide accurate supplier forecasts.
- Potential for additional exposure to SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) processes and reporting, including digitization of these reports.

Qualifications:
- Buying, Purchasing or Supply Chain / Order Management background.
- Experience expediting orders and problem-solving solutions.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, numerical, math, statistics skills.
- Proficient computer skills including full suite of Microsoft Office applications. Moderate to advanced level in Excel.
- Experience in high mix/low volume ETO environment.
- Data driven and results oriented.
- Experience with change management in a dynamic environment.
- Inventory control process knowledge desirable.
- SAP (S4), KANBAN, MRP, OFO, Functional knowledge of Material Management Computer System - MRP is ideal.
- Bachelors' Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), or Business Management preferred.
