Overview: We are seeking an experienced Supplier Forecasting Lead with expertise in upstream management, component inventory, and supplier performance optimization. This role is critical for driving regional transformation and ensuring the effective use of digital tools and processes to enhance supplier relationships and forecasting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management:
- Establish and define S.M.A.R.T. regional targets for upstream leaders and the central upstream team.
- Implement actionable strategies to improve upstream performance.
- Collaborate with plants to create and execute comprehensive action plans.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for global subject matter expertise.
- Lead regional domain expertise initiatives.
- Champion the adoption and enhancement of tools (Kinaxis, SAP, SupplyOn) and processes within the Upstream Planning community at factories.
Transformation Leadership:
- Drive transformation initiatives within the upstream function in terms of processes and digital tools.
- Ensure readiness, implementation and performance of Schneider Performance System (SPS).
- Conduct process audits to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Performance Review:
- Actively participate in performance reviews, providing constructive feedback to upstream leaders and the central team.
Competencies Needed:
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Technical upstream planning expertise to assess business practices and recommend automation opportunities.
- Experience with Upstream Planning tools like Kinaxis, SAP or similar.
- Energetic, flexible, and collaborative team leader who embraces challenges.
- Proven ability to foster collaboration and networking across functions.
- Leadership skills to simplify decision-making in a complex organizational structure.
