Homes and small commercial establishments around the world are evolving due to more electrification (increased
appliances and new loads, ex. electric vehicles), more digital (automation and IoT), and new electricity sources (ex. solar). At Schneider Electric we have a big role to play in enabling our end users navigate these evolutions and making their lives safer, more comfortable and sustainable.
What you will do:
- Contribute to deep-dive strategic review and ad-hoc topics for senior management decision making: work independently or engage line of business and operations specialists to identify market potential, use case, manage end-to-end research, synthesize data into insights, develop strategic insights, drive strategic initiatives and innovation
- Develop go-to-market strategy to scale business leveraging digital and partners
- Support the strategy on corporate development activities including M&A, investment, and partnership to perform gap analysis, identify potential targets, define strategic intent & corporate activities, project management throughout the strategy cycle
- Develop insights on our market, industry, competitive landscape, and customer segment
- Perform financial and data analysis
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor Degree in the relevant fields (e.g. Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering disciplines with good business knowledge, logical thinking and strategy mindset)
- At least 3-7 years of experience, a big part of which being in strategy consulting, analytics type of roles, in consulting firms or companies around energy, services, digital that are undergoing disruption both from a technology and competitor standpoint
- Understanding of financial concepts, proficient in data and simple statistic tools
- High proficiency in MS Suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI or similar data analytics tools would be a plus
- A self-starter with the ability to multi-task with changing demands, curious, strategic, comfortable with ambiguity, flexible and able to work under pressure with short timeframe
- Ability to present insight and conclusions to top management. Skilled in influencing and communication with internal and external parties.
