Services Business Finance Controller

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Business Finance Controller to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Cost Forecast files for SLA contracts and Service Projects by updating the actuals untill previous month and drive the monthlly reviews with Service / Project Managers
  • Review hardware backlog orders along with Spare Parts Administrator, Supply Chain & Service Manager (If required)
  • Capturing notes and actions during monthly reviews and provide data relating to potential savings identified during the reviews
  • Forecast data submission for monthly P&L File Preparation
  • Provide and monitor relevant financial support to project Manager's and Service Delivery Manager
  • Closure of Projects / CF contracts in SAP upon completion
  • Ensure Compliance with internal policies and procedures and IFRS, as well as application of business and system processes
  • Address ADHOC requests received from Head Quarters and Corporate
  • Support Project Controller in preparation of Cost forecast files for POC projects
  • Support Project Controller / Business by providing requested data for Statutory Audit and Income Tax Audits

  • University Degree in Finance / Accounts. MBA degree is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Controller or commercially focussed finance position
  • In depth knowledge of commercial nature of project, service and product business
  • Project Controlling and Project Management background combined with accounting experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles
  • Good knowledge and experience with SAP (FI-CO-PS)
  • Process and compliance focussed
  • Able to extract information from multiple sources, analyze data and communicate the outcome
  • Collaborative, action oriented, analytical with problem solving approach
  • High level of integrity, ownership and ethics in approach and action
