The Role:
As a Services Engineer, you will work within the Services operations team in Singapore and you will be responsible to support any job assign to you to ensure customer satisfaction with Schneider products and its services.
What will you do?
- Perform field service (customer site service) activities involving the installation supervision, commissioning, maintaining, modification, onsite training, system upgrade and repair of Schneider PLC.
- Responsible for a region or subgroup of field services.
- Performs installation supervision and commissioning of Schneider products including day to day service of the same.
- Performs maintenance for Schneider PLC.
- Trains customers on equipment operation and maintenance of Schneider PLC Product.
- Represents Schneider dealing with customer concerns.
- Responsible for identifying and reporting failure modes encountered when in the field. Also responsible for determining the cause of these failures.
- Solve Site problems at customers site and provides reports on these issues.
- Providing 24hrs telephone support for customers.
- Acquisition of Customer Service products.
- Support internal for spare parts warranty, preparation and assembly.
- Improve on site report and process.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Min Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Min 3-5 yrs exp. in Oil & Gas sector, Power Generation, Petrochemical technical experience is an added advantage.
- Has experience and skilled in PLC. Technical knowledge of MV and LV equipment will be an added advantage.
- Willing to travel up to 80% within Region.
- Has teamwork and is customer oriented.
- Has good time management and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to interface with all functional areas of the company.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Power Point.
