We are looking for Senior Tender Engineer to make a difference! This position is accountable for preparing a response to the Request for proposal/Quotation on moderate size and complex Customer's opportunity, from start to finish, so that the response offered the best Value Proposition. This includes reviewing the RFP/RFQ, determining the scope of works and tasks, determine the best product/equipment/software/services offers, liaising with factories and vendors, challenging the factories and vendors' offer, costing and determining the market price level, working with various internal stakeholders, i.e. opportunity leader, business leader, project management, engineering, solution purchaser, legal, contract management, solution risk management, analyze risk and opportunities etc. To prepare/revise the offer till the closure of the opportunity, attend and support bid clarification with the opportunity leader, organized Contract Review as well as hand-over package to the project management team. This position is expected to be self driven, taking ownership and initiative to complete the require task within the timeframe agreed with the Opportunity Leader.

What will you do?
- Take ownership of the tender process and drive the submission of the Offer
- Analyze request for proposals (RFP)/ request for quotation (RFQ) from Customer and determining the scope of works and tasks
- Liaise with factory personnel in preparing proposal packages and advising on technical matters to prospective clients / consultants
- Ensure and comply to following tendering process
- Ensure the specifications of equipment meets with the customer's requirements and needs;
- Prepare offer documentation consistent with validated data
- Prepare costing as per standard process and tools and submission of Offer within deadline
- Perform risk and opportunity analysis.
- Ensure compliance of Solution Risk Policy and coordinate for approval
- Deliver a winning bid, with a clear scope with accurate technical and commercial commitments in a timely manner and within the defined tender budget that will result in a clearly defined and profitable contract.
- To assist Account Manager (Sales) during technical and commercial clarification pertaining proposal with clients
- Conduct contract review to ensure contract alignment
- Prepare and handover of opportunity to operation team
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Power Engineering
- Experience in tendering process preferably more than 5 years experiences in tendering.
- Good Experience and strong knowledge in Electrical Distribution equipment, systems and solutions especially Medium Voltage Switchgear
- Have minimum 3 years of tendering experience in MV switchgears or in offering electrical distribution solution
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Industry, EPC and customer base in various segments such as Oil & Gas, Utility, CIB and other segments.
- Have experience in product, solution, document approval with consultant, utilities, EPC
