Highly motivated and experienced technical professional with minimum 12-15 years in field of electrical engineering, having in depth knowledge on Power Quality and overall electrical network system. The position is based out Kolkata, Manager, Power Quality Consulting & in-depth knowledge of IEEE standards and extensive experience in high-voltage (HV) networks within Services Practice. This position will report to head of Consulting Business, Greater India zone. The candidate must have experience in executing PQ audits at site in various segments of electro intensive and electro sensitive and must be able to provide right set of recommendations as outcome of Audits.
This role will be as an Individual contributor with responsibilities for technical advocacy. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Power trend, regulations, and commercial aspect of power in country. In the primary role, the candidate will be working to execute site delivery of Power Quality audits and other related consulting services in country, analyze data, create reports and put the right set of recommendations, create opportunities, support with costing and also customer meeting and support sales. Essential knowledge on various standards like CEA guidelines, IEEE519, IEEE1159, IEEE1250, IEEE1409, IEEE1459, IEEE1547, IEEE2800, IEC 61000-4-30, IEC TS62749 will be critical and preferred.

The incumbent must be in a position to read CBEMA/ITIC/SEMI-F47 Curve Analysis, Various Utility billing schemes, Floating Grid, Tracing as-build diagram to find out path of power flow in the circuit. Understanding and analyzing Single Line Diagram, Identify all pre-requisite for project execution (site layouts, data, design documents, SLD's, product specification document etc.) and flag any constraints that might impact the desired customer expectations. Analyze historical data from various data aggregation system and prepare assessment reports. Provide recommendation for efficiency and availability improvements and highlight problem areas that require attention, Guide distributed stake holders for project execution and data gathering, provide training/support for the team or help in facilitating the same, Field experience on data collection using Fluke/Chauvin Arnoux/Dranetz Power Analyser and making the plotting as per standard & great presenting skills to convey the findings and various implementation techniques which is easily understood by various stakeholders internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze power quality issues in client facilities, providing expert recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement power quality measurement and monitoring strategies to ensure compliance with IEEE standards.
- Conduct detailed power quality studies and assessments, including harmonic analysis, voltage sags and swells, and transient analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement solutions for power quality problems, including filters, capacitors, and voltage regulation systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on best practices for maintaining power quality in high-voltage networks.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements related to power quality and HV networks.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for clients, detailing findings and recommendations.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and team members on power quality analysis and compliance standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 8-10 years of experience in power quality analysis, with a strong background in multiple industries.
- In-depth knowledge of IEEE standards and guidelines related to power quality.
- Experience working with high-voltage (HV) networks and systems.
- Maintenance & project execution minimum 33KV distribution side
• Preferred Certification CDCP, Uptime, DCU
- Proficiency in power quality measurement tools and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
