Reporting to the Regional CISO, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cybersecurity Governance Officer to join our APAC Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance team. Being the subject matter expert on Governance, Risk and Compliance, you will manage reviewing and enhancing our cybersecurity posture (process, people, technology) at the Regional and Country level within the APAC Region.

You will be expected to bring a security-first culture to everything we do at Schneider Electric while appropriately protecting and managing the risk to our customers and the company. Some of your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Raise awareness amongst our Schneider Electric country leaders
  • Coordinate a cybersecurity action plan with Customers, subsidiaries, and business representatives
  • Management of incidents within the APAC scope, leveraging our cybersecurity posture with Customers and internally
  • Execute security reviews, considering incidents, vulnerabilities, policies compliance, audits, security check, external scoring remediation
  • Control and enforce security policies deployment and needed national security standards


About You:

You are passionate and strategic, you love dealing with stakeholders locally and globally, and you want to impact our business. As the nature of communication is fluid and increasingly important in today's business environment, the role requires an adaptive and agile approach, and it also requires an ethical consideration of the brand values, essence, and mission.

In addition, you possess the following relevant skills and attributes to be successful:

  • At least five years of demonstrable professional experience in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance, preferably at a regional or country level
  • Preferably at least one certification as a Certified Information Security Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) or equivalent years of demonstrable experience in a Cybersecurity Governance or Cybersecurity leadership role
  • Preferably one certification as a GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCIA) or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or equivalent years of demonstrable experience in a Cybersecurity Defense Technical role
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Engineering/Science. MSc or MBA is better,
  • Familiarity with security standards: ISO7001, NIST, IEC 62443 SOC2, PCI-DSS.
