Impact you'll make:
The senior architect cybersecurity services will be responsible for working with the controls NPI networking and cyber teams to define a sustainable strategy around performing cyber security assessments on gas power integrated control solutions. This will include strategies that are to be executed during the NPI phase of product development, the fulfillment stage of product delivery, as well as aftermarket infield assessments. This role will work with technical leaders, principal engineers, consulting engineers, and product line leaders. Engagement spans across product offerings in both the new units and aftermarket.

Job Description

What you'll do

  • Develop a strategy for maintaining a catalog of all cyber products to be covered by cybersecurity assessments.
  • Work with product line leaders to capture customer facing cyber security services requirements and translate those into actional items for delivery by the NPI teams.
  • Work with Technical Leaders, System Architects, and Principal Engineers to develop test plans around internal product cyber services strategies.
  • Document standard work for the different lifecycle stages of product deployment as required for cyber security services offerings.
  • Create standard report structures that can be used to respond to customer requests around cybersecurity reporting.
  • Define a strategy for utilizing advanced tools such as AI/ML to respond efficiently to cybersecurity related requests to meet customer needs.
  • Work within the GE Vernova product security PSIRT process to address new findings.
  • Serve as a member in the Scaled Agile Framework defining the handoff scope in terms of features, stories, and tasks meeting milestone dates as laid out by the product owner to meet product testing requirements.
  • Coordinate with and train domestic and global fulfillment and field teams on new cybersecurity service releases.
  • Manage multiple product validations/testing concurrently.

What you'll bring (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Computer Science or in a "STEM" major (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) from an accredited college or university OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience in cybersecurity including hardware and software development.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial controls engineering capacity with a focus on hardware and software product development.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing and deploying cybersecurity offerings.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $140,700.00 - 234,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.

This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 10/7/2024.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
