For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $180,000.00-$270,000.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the Strategic Customers Team the Public Sector SME works with the Strategic Account Sale Executives in the Public Sector Market Segment driving growth in both established and new accounts. Serve as a bridge from sales to execution leading technical/architectural discussions on design, deployment and service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- As part of the sales process, acts as a trusted advisor that brings together customer needs to define repeatable solutions
- Brings fresh industry and technology insights to build trust with key decision makers with new customers
- Provides technical depth, understands, adapts, and applies Schneider Electric's full portfolio (including Aveva) of offerings and solutions, digital and physical, to customer requirements
- Works with Engineering Specifiers/Consultants as a trusted advisor promoting our solutions and the Schneider Electric point of view on the Public Sector market segment
- Keeps up to date with digital and automation technologies and shares with the team
- The Public Sector SME is collaborative, working to develop the best technical solutions for our customers
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
- Highly motivated and experienced individual who has a proven record of developing customer relationships and providing solutions to our Public Sector customers
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or work experience equivalent
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the Public Sector industry
- Strong knowledge and experience of the Public Sector processes and challenges
- Ability to see and present the 'big picture' and offer solutions with that context
- Very knowledgeable on industrial automation and digital operations technologies
- Power systems knowledge a plus
- Familiar with competitors Public Sector industrial offerings
- Ability to thrive in uncertainty, adapt to changes in the market and pivot as needed
- Ability to work collaboratively, within a sales team
- Ability to travel within North America as needed
