For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $156,000 - $234,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. As part of the US Enterprise Customers Organization the Segment Solutions Consultant collaborates closely with our sales teams to drive growth in our healthcare market, in support of our top healthcare customers in the US. As a Segment Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for driving the sales and adoption of our solutions within our healthcare market. You will work closely with the sales, technology and marketing teams to understand customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and articulate the value proposition to customers. Your role will involve identifying key industry trends, and creating compelling business cases to showcase the benefits of our solutions. You will also collaborate with product development teams to ensure that our offerings align with market demands and customer requirements.

This is a critical role in the organization to serve as a bridge from ideation to impactful business solutions in support of our customers organizational objectives. The Segment Consultant is lead strategist for top customers and pursuits, leading technical/architectural discussions on deployment, service and growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a trusted advisor during the sales process, leveraging cross-segment operational, functional, and constructional capabilities to architect IIOT solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the specific needs and challenges within the assigned market segment to inform solution development and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies for solution adoption and revenue growth within the assigned market segment.
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients, effectively showcasing the value of our solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities for market differentiation and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with product development teams to provide valuable market insights and contribute to the development of new solutions that address customer requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and expertise to the sales team in client engagements, offering technical depth and leveraging Schneider Electric's full portfolio of offerings and solutions, including AVEVA and OSIsoft, within the Customer's IT/OT environment.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of customer processes, parameters to be optimized, and decision criteria to bring forth differentiated solutions that address specific customer needs.
  • Bring fresh industry and technology insights to influence operational and technical functions, building a pyramid of trust up to key decision makers with new customers.
  • Stay updated on IIOT technologies and advancements, sharing relevant insights with the team to foster continuous learning and innovation.

The Segment Solutions Consultant is collaborative, leading multi-domain teams working to develop the best technical solution and know the internal resources and networks

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
  • Highly motivated and experienced individual who has a proven record of developing customer relationships through architecting and providing digital industrial solutions that mitigate customer pain points and grow profitable sales growth
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or work experience equivalent
  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience as a Customer facing industry solution architect
  • Ability to see and present the 'big picture' and offer solutions with that context
  • Digital authority/expert on the OT/IT landscape, systems integration, cloud, analytics, cybersecurity, and standards
  • Proficiency in understanding industrial operations management platforms, asset performance management and industrial automation
  • Knowledge of energy, electrical distribution and building automation software
  • Experience in working with diverse technology platforms - both hardware and software, from Embedded Edge devices to cloud based PaaS/SaaS
  • Familiarity with big data tools and analytics tools
  • Experience of major cloud player tools and stack
  • Ability to thrive in uncertainty, adapt to changes in the market and pivot as needed
  • Strong relationship building & communication skills
  • Tenacity, resilience, emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work collaboratively, within a sales team and the solution architect community
  • Ability to travel within US as needed
