What do you get to do in this position?

Be a part of the financial transformation initiatives and provide valuable insights to the organization. The intention is to bring a strong candidate to take over financial reporting, consolidation, & analysis duties for South America region. Part of the main responsibilities will be to lead the financial value add reporting & analysis roadmap, provide standardized and simplified reporting, consolidation, and analysis for the South America region. The ideal candidate will have strong project accounting, business partnering and liaisons with the organization & will collaborate on financial transformation projects for the region on an as needed basis as we build the FP&A center of excellence organization of the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Standardize reporting to improve communication efficiency with other stakeholders.
  • Month-end close duties such as reporting orders, sales, and margin.
  • Assist in the financial transformation for South America.
  • Enhance efficiency & effectiveness through standardization and simplification of process & tools across the region.
  • Create project dashboards and provide business performance commentary.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with South America team.
  • Ah-doc financial reports.
  • Have full ownership of P&L performance.


Qualifications

This job might be for you if you fit the following requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related period.
  • Experienced professional with 3-5 years of experience in consulting, accounting or financial planning and reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling theory, principles, and practices.
  • Strong accounting and reporting skills, project accounting proficiency a plus.
  • Strong digital citizen and ease with managing multiple systems.
  • Strong sense of accountability & ownership
  • Strong financial, accounting, & analytical skills with proven business acumen.
  • Moderate to advanced PC skills (emphasis on MS Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, HFM/Hyperion/Essbase, SAP, Tagetick, and SQL) and the ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly. Possess superior Excel skills including charting and the ability to manipulate large volumes of data resulting from various sources into meaningful and dependable managerial information
  • The right candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to work with and influence others, not only within a direct reporting relationship
  • English proficiency
  • Portuguese a plus.
  • Detailed oriented
  • Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams
  • Sense of prioritization, self-motivated; resistant to a high-pressure environment
